NORTHERN MINNESOTA
The woods can be profound places. They provide peace and serenity, a doorway to mysticism, but at the same time they’re entry points to danger. They’re mysterious; things hide in the woods. The woods can produce calm and connection through nature, but also have a subtle mystical side, holding the magic of the unknown. From that vantage point I’m approaching this series. I started capturing in Washington state then northern Minnesota and hoping to keep exploring this theme through my images in the years ahead.
